David’s Sunday Evening Update
A variable weather pattern will be established in the coming days. there will be some fluctuations in temperature but it stays above average throughout the week. Also, a couple of rainy seasons in the forecasts. The first area with mostly light showers moves on Sunday afternoon and continues into the night. Heavy rains on Tuesday could cause some flooding problems.
Tonight – Heavy rain and mild temperatures. Ground Monday morning 46.
Monday – A few showers may occur in the morning but then dry out and really warm up. high 62.
Tuesday: Still warm, 50 feet high. It will rain – sometimes heavy – which could cause flooding on Tuesday night.
At the beginning of the day a little sun was replaced by cloudy skies on Sunday evening.
The clouds are ahead of a few showers in our west.
These showers will begin to enter Indiana this afternoon.
By Monday morning, most of the rain should be gone.
Monday seems like another amazing, warm day in the late 60’s.
That Indy 62 is more than 20 degrees above average by the end of December. The 12/27 record is 68.
The next weather system will come on Tuesday. The rain moves early in the morning.
Heavy rain, sometimes heavy, can cause flooding on Tuesday.
8 day forecast – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday drying. More rain on Saturday for New Year’s Day. Temperatures cool slightly to 40 degrees daily. But that’s still above the 30-year high above average. A major change in the usual winter weather is possible next Monday.
