Indiana reports 261 new COVID-19 cases; 15 new deaths

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – New COVID-19 data has been released by the Indiana Department of Health.

The section shows cases a day before the date the positive test was collected. New deaths and tests have occurred over a range of dates but have been reported to the state Ministry of Health in the last 24 hours.

IDOH says 261 additional Hoosiers were positive on COVID-19; these tests were recorded from January 21, 2022 to March 14, 2022.

A total of 1,687,591 Hoosiers have been positive on COVID-19 since February 2020.

The IDOH coronavirus panel reported 15 more COVID-19 deaths in Indiana from March 6, 2022 to March 13, 2022.

A total of 22,286 Hoosiers died of COVID-19. Another 907 “probable” deaths occurred but a positive test is not recorded.

A total of 19,200,670 tests have been administered since February 26, 2020.

There are currently 446 Hoosiers hospitalized with COVID-19.

ISDH says 9,182,008 vaccine doses have been administered to Hoosiers, and 3,693,718 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.

According to the Regenstrief Institute, 1,490,622 Hoosiers are estimated to recover from the virus.

According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 460,636,645 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 6,048,794 deaths.
