Hepworth said they have been paying attention to the convoy since it left California.
“Voices are saying that we are really tired of what is happening in government, we are really tired of feeling that our freedoms are being eroded, like our voices are being ignored,” Hepworth said.
Deb Cowley came from Avon, she agreed, saying she wants all pandemic warrants to be canceled.
“The mask, the vaccine, everything,” Cowley said.
As many mask warrants are being lifted across the country, Tingey said it is about federal vaccine warrants and workers being fired for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine.
“They want to separate us, and some people get to keep their jobs and some people can’t a little more,” she said.
As the convoy moves closer to Washington, D.C., Tingey said she hopes to send a message to the current administration.
“We hope you say we are ready for them to come back to remove the warrants,” she said.
The convoy will be in Monrovia until Thursday morning before heading to its next stop in Ohio, passing through Indianapolis that morning.
