INDIANA MALL TO BE SOLD IN ONLINE AUCTION
Indiana Mall is up for auction and looks to be sold out soon.
According to auction site Ten-X.com, the 44.84-acre site is up for sale, with the auction ending Wednesday. The mall has been in operation since 1979, but has lost three of its original four outlets in recent years. The last original anchor shop is JCPenney, and it is now with the new Kohl’s and Harbor Freight anchor shops, but in recent years the mall has lost Kmart, Sears and The Bon Ton. The offer started at $ 850,000, but the offer is now up to over $ 3 million, according to the website.
In 2020, ownership of the mall was transferred from Zamias Services, Inc. to an unidentified bank lender. Zamias has been running the mall ever since.
