David’s Cold Start to the Week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There is an Alberta Clipper weather system that can bring some snow on Monday in northern Indiana. Otherwise it is a very cold and calm start to the week. Tonight Tonight – Clearing the skies and low temperatures. Temperatures in the 1920s early and until 2pm on Monday morning. Monday – Partly cloudy and cold. High only on Tuesday 26th – sunny but still very cold. Low Tuesday morning at 11am. High Tuesday afternoon only 30. Wednesday – sunny and a little warmer. High 42.

The rain that passed through Indiana yesterday night is headed for the East Coast today.

The rainfall was very light, with freezing rain falling on Saturday night, but on Monday morning it was raining more heavily. Over 1/2 inch in central Indiana and over 1 inch in southern Indiana.

The sky began clearing on Sunday afternoon, offering a glimpse of the sun for a change.

With a cloudless sky tonight, temperatures are dropping rapidly.

Until Monday morning we feel the temperature in our teens, and the chills from the wind are single-digit.

There is a chance of a snowstorm on Monday morning. No problems with accumulation or travel are expected.

Monday remains cold all day. Temperatures will be around 10 degrees below average on January 10th.

Outlook for 8 days – Slight warming trend until Friday. Temps in the 40’s. Chance of showers on Friday. Then cooler with a chance of snow showers on Saturday.
